Create your own logo using Photoshop

Previously, I wrote about a free online service called LogoMaker that lets you create and design your own logo online. However, making a good looking text logo is easy using Photoshop. In this tutorial we will apply duplicated layers, opacity and some rasterizing techniques to create a text that looks like the one below.

Begin with an empty Photoshop document. Create a new layer and create a text on the document using the Text tool. In your background layer create the text by clicking on the Text Tool of Photoshop then click and drag it in your background layer to your desired size. You can also select the font, size, and colour of the text that you want to use.
