Windows 7 advertises a more user-friendly environment than its predecessors. While the jury is still out on whether these advertisements are true or not, one thing is indisputable: the font installation process has changed—for the better!
In previous versions of Windows, we had to open the control panel, find the font folder, then find the special link to add a font, then find the directory with the font we just downloaded, and then (finally) install it. Windows 7 has shortened this process significantly.
